Overview of I-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes
The I-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes are high-efficiency heat transfer tubes fabricated with straight fins which are joined longitudinally to the outer surface of the base tube. The use of longitudinal fins greatly enhances the external heat transfer surface area to increase thermal efficiency in gas to liquid and air to liquid heat exchanger systems. Such finned tubes are usually fabricated by using the process of high frequency resistance welding to ensure that there is a good metallurgical joint between the fins and the tube for mechanical strength and efficient heat transfer performance. The I-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes are normally made with outside tube diameters of 19mm to 273mm, fin height of 4mm to 38mm, and fin thickness of 0.5mm to 3mm. They are made from carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloy, and nickel alloy materials.
