Overview of V-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes
The V-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes are advanced heat transfer tubes that incorporate the use of V-channel fins resistance-welded to the outer wall of the base tube. The special V-channel construction increases the heat transfer area externally as well as creates turbulence in fluids, thereby increasing the efficiency of thermal transfer as compared to regular fins. These tubes are made by shaping metal strips in V-channels and then bonding them to the tube through axial resistance welding. Made from carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and alloys, the V-Type Longitudinal Fin Tubes have high corrosion resistance and good fluid drainage capabilities, along with superior strength under high pressure and temperature environments.
